Ideas for encouraging people to attend talk times

I think it is important that parents of children attending the ESOL programme make some of the talk times, or use this wiki to participate with ideas, discussions or questions.

I wonder how we could encourage more parents to attend this meetings?

Hi Rob, I totally agree with you! It is my goal to have our wiki as active as possible by being up to date with information, newsletters and student's work. At our last Parent Talk Time we demonstrated the wiki and registered four parents. We encouraged these parents to invite their family and friends to join and it is great to see one family now has three overseas members. If you have any further ideas about how we can get our wiki out into the community, I would love to hear them! Do you find this valuable?

What about sending home bookmarks with the URL on it and instructions for how to join?

Or perhaps setting it as home work for all ESOL kids?
